Why Donate with FYN?

We are a BIPOC, community based organization that focuses on the betterment of urban communities through housing, clothing, education, and food sustainability. We provide a platform for advocates and community leaders who have a connection to these subjects with an ability to produce direct change. Each donation is tax deductible allowing you to reduce the taxable income you received for that year.

Who Will I Be Funding?

You will be key in the continuation of FYN's pillar programming such as Food Desert Waste Reduction, ECO-Hood, Youth Development Scholarship Program (Summer), and Returning Citizens Program. All donation proceeds will be used to further the success of these programs.

Community Development

How Will People Benefit From My Donation?

There are over 1,000 participants throughout FYN's programming, mostly coming for our resources and tangible help. You will be a key player in community change, allowing a small donation to leave a big impact to the younger generation of your community. Your donation will fit into three categories: Housing, Education, or Food Security.

How To Donate?

If you'd like to donate to Feed Your Neighborhood Corp, there are a few ways to do so: In-kind Donation, Monetary Gift Exchange, Cash Donations, or a Monthly Subscription Service.

Donation Types

  • In Kind Donation

    An in-kind donation is a non-cash contribution of goods or services that are given for free or at a reduced cost. In-kind donations can be just as useful as cash donations, and they'll help us bridge the gaps between community and resources. Most common type of In Kind donation is by volunteering with FYN.

  • Monetary Gift Exchange

    Feed Your Neighborhood designed our brand to create high end clothing as a fundraising campaign in exchange for tiered monetary donations and  real life marketing. Each clothing item we “gift” is completely tax deductible with proceeds from those gift exchanges used to fund our infrastructure as an organization. All clothing pieces from FYN are visually intriguing, sparking conversation around FYN’s resources and sustainable practices. 

  • Monthly Membership Subscription

    Become a Feed Your Neighborhood Corp Member! This membership is for people who love their community and our resources. Memberships start off at $5 a month and will be used as crowd funding to help do major things such as increase FYN's workforce and provide college or trade scholarships for all youth FYN Members.

  • Cash Donations

    Cash donations is a gift of cash or property given to Feed Your Neighborhood to help us achieve our goals. In the United States, charitable donations are tax deductible for individuals and companies, and can be deducted from federal tax returns!
